Surrey Infrastructure: Carriageway development in Richmond

Simpler supply chain from waste away to aggregate supply

Returning regularly to site throughout March 2024, MCM have played an integral part in the ongoing carriageway improvements along the A316 at Richmond. The infrastructure works under Taylor Woodrow’s main contract have called for regular waste away services as well as the fresh supply of a range of sands, shingles and Type 1 aggregates.  As suppliers of waste management services and suppliers of soils and aggregates, MCM have been able to keep the supply chain streamlined for the contractor, managing site waste and backloading wherever possible.

Aggregates, concrete mix and additional plant hire

Supplying in bulk bags and loose, aggregates have been delivered in a timed and accessible manner, enabling ongoing works and continuity.  The busy roadside location meant that a bagged delivery was often the most straightforward, manageable option.

Additional plant hire has also been sourced and provided, as well as ready mixed concrete for path and roadway construction.
